BNA Bank News

BNA Bank is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 BNA Bank Scholarship. All graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college in Mississippi were eligible to submit an application. The applications were reviewed and scored based on the following criteria: ACT or SAT Composite Scores, Grade Point Average, student curriculum, financial need, extra-curricular activities, and work activities.

"Our scholarship process is a very fair one," remarked Senior Vice President Mike Staten. "We use out of town judges who review applications not knowing the student's identity."

BNA Bank awards a $500.00 scholarship to a senior at each of the four high schools located in Union county and two $500.00 scholarships to two seniors at New Albany High School. This year's recipients are:

  • New Albany: Kurt Hickey son of Kenneth and Beverly Hickey; Tristan Estrada son of Walter and Aldys Estrada
  • West Union: Kurt Allen Stevens, son of Terry and Tammie Stevens
  • East Union: Skyler Crane, son of Shane and Audrey Crane
  • Ingomar: Kerra Pinnix, daughter of William and Ramona Crossen
  • Myrtle: Homer Steven, son of Lee and Bennie Stephens

In addition, we would like to recognize the following finalists who will be awarded $50.
