New Albany, Mississippi: On behalf of the BNA Bank board of directors, James R. Collins announces the following changes in BNA Bank management.

Morgan Akins has been named Vice President, Electronic Banking Operations. Morgan has worked at BNA Bank for ­7 years in Operations and was most recently promoted to Assistant Vice President of Computer Operations in January 2009.

"We are very proud of Morgan and he has demonstrated his ability to take on more responsibility,” said James R. “Bo” Collins, President of BNA Bank. “He will continue to work with customer based electronic banking including debit cards, our internet banking product, and our new mobile banking solution that will be introduced in the next few weeks."

A Ripley High School graduate, Morgan received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Mississippi State University. He is also a 2007 graduate of the Ole Miss School of Banking. Morgan is a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and the New Albany Kiwanis Club. He and his wife, Leigh, have two children: Emma (6) and Maddox (7 months).

Tom Coltharp has been hired to serve as Vice President, Computer Operations. Tom has been the owner and operator of New Data, Inc. since 1995 and co-owner/operator of Datalane Internet since 1999. In addition, he has worked for BNA Bank for several years on a contractual basis.

"We are excited about Tom Coltharp joining our team full time,” said Collins. “Tom has worked for us on a contractual basis for a number of years, and therefore, is familiar with our computer operations and our staff. He is a comfortable fit."

He is a graduate of W.P. Daniel High School and a cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of First United Methodist Church and serves on the Board of Directors for the Tallahatchie Arts Council. Tom and his wife, Kelly (Jernigan), have three children: Bailey King, Collins Coltharp and Martin Coltharp. They also have three granddaughters: Caroline, Lucy and Sara Jane King.
